A PLAN to put more flags up in Belfast has been welcomed after school kids created their own for a peace project.

Pupils from St Patrick's College Bearnageeha and Ashfield High School in the city made 1,000 banners as part of a campaign supported by the Thomas Devlin Fund. Schoolboy Thomas was stabbed to death in North Belfast in August 2005
