FORMER Daily Telegraph owner Conrad Black was accused yesterday of looting pounds 222million to fund his plush lifestyle of private jets, caviar, cars and fine wine.

Court papers filed in the USA allege that the battered tycoon used Hollinger International, which he headed, as a "piggy bank" for his luxuries - pounds 50,000 for sprucing up a Rolls-Royce and pounds 1,300 for a handbag for his wife, Barbara Amiel.
