A SCHOOLBOY who lashed out after falling victim to the "happy slapping" craze was shown mercy by a court yesterday.

Rory Watson, 16, punched a boy on the school bus after a gang of bullies used mobile phones to film attacks on him. His victim suffered grazing to his forehead, black eyes and a cut to the inside of his mouth.
