PRANKSTERS are trying to bring down police helicopters by using laser pens bought over the internet, the Daily Mirror can reveal.
The PSNI's Eurocopter and recently-purchased Twin Squirrel have become the latest targets for yobs trying to temporarily blind pilots. After airline pilots landing at Belfast International Airport reported being lasered on July 24 and 25, the police copter was deployed to track and catch the culprits only to have the lasers turned on them.See the full content of this document
