GALWAY football legend Mattie McDonagh, the only Connacht player to win four All-Ireland medals, has died at the age of 68.

McDonagh was centre half-forward on the Galway three-in-a-row team of the sixties, having won his first All-Ireland as a 19-year- old in 1956.
