DUNDEE boss Jim Duffy last night claimed that crocked skipper Barry Smith is as important to the club as Roy Keane is to Manchester United.

Smith is midway through a rehabilitation programme on his injured knee and Duffy has been keeping a close eye on him to ensure the enthusiastic ex-Celt completes his fitness routines in full before getting back to action.
