THE shot colleague of murdered PC Ian Broadhurst paid a poignant funeral tribute to his friend yesterday by "signing off" his radio call sign.

As Ian's pale widow Eilisa fought tears at the ceremony injured Neil Roper, 45, said in a statement: "It is a privilege to have known him and called him a friend. On your behalf, Ian, this is WB- 38 booking off."
