A WILD birds club official has been warned he could be jailed after he admitted illegally keeping one of the UK's rarest species at his home.
Sean Fitzpatrick, honorary life vice-president of the National Council for Aviculture, pleaded guilty to owning 20 live red-backed shrikes and three stone chats. Most of the birds, which were found by the RSPCA, later died.See the full content of this document
